Hypnotherapy / Hypnosis with Meditation

One of the healing modalities we offer is Meditation Therapy - a practice that combines Meditation, Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation) and Hypnosis.  This therapy is highly effective in improving the following conditions:

The Process of Hypnotherapy

The client lies down in Shavasana (corpse pose) and just rests and listens.  The therapist will first guide the client through deep relaxation, similar to what we do at the end of yoga class, and then continues guided meditation until the client has reached the state of hypnosis.  The therapist then uses imagery and gentle commands to alter any negative thought patterns that are deep rooted within the mind.  Each session is approx 20 minutes.

Hypnotherapy is completely safe.  Even while under hypnosis, the client will not do or say anything he/she would not want in a normal state.  However, for hypnotherapy to be effective the client must want to change and believe in the treatment.

Once started, the client should receive the therapy every week for 6-8 weeks in order to see significant improvement.  Often the client will notice changes right after the very first session, however this will not be long lasting.  It takes repetition to change the negative thought patterns that limit us.

All sessions are conducted by Amita Jain, certified clinical hypnotherapist and yoga therapy teacher for 20 years.
